Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – Celina, TX

Homes sales were only up 5% in the Celina area in August but pending sales jumped 35%. Looking good for September! The average sales price fell 1% while the median sales price dropped 6%. Looks like some builders were lowering their prices. New listings increased 11%. Active listings fell 11% as compared to last August. The months of inventory fell to 4.8 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market.
