Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – McKinney, TX

Well Mckinney bucked the trend of the other Northern Dallas suburbs with home sales declining 7%. However, pending sales rose 10%  so September could be a positive month. The average sales price climbed 5% while the median sales price was flat.  Bad news if you are a buyer. The number of new listings fell 6% and the active listings. Active listings fell off a cliff down 21%! The months of inventory is half way to a balanced market ta 3 months.
