Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – Wylie TX

Buyers were loving Wylie in August! Home sales rose 11% and pending sales (that means homes under contract that have not closed yet) climbed 14%. The average sales price was up 4% and the median sales price increased 5%. Now for the negative numbers. New listings declined 11%, Active listings fell 25% as compared to this time last year. This is not good if you are a buyer! The months of inventory is now at 2 months. That’s one of the lowest inventory levels in North Texas.
