Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – Far North Dallas

Well buyers were snapping up homes in Far North Dallas during August! Sales jumped 34%.  Pending sales showed a very nice increase of 23%. These sales did come at a price with the average sales price declining 8% and the median sales price off 2%. New listings were no help to buyers down 6%. The number of active listings increased 8% compared to last year. months of inventory is a little pasted half way to a balanced market at 4.1 months.
