Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for July – Allen TX

Buyers were liking the Allen area in July. home sales increased by 16% compared to last July. Pending sales also showed a nice gin up 27%. Looks positive for August. The average sales price fell 1% while the median sales price rose 6%. The number of new listings rose 4%. Active listings however fell 10% taking the months of inventory down to 3.3 months. We are still in a sellers market and only about have way to a balanced market.
