Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for July – Carrollton/Farmers Branch

The Carrollton/Farmers Branch area saw an 18% rise in home sales in July. Unfortunately this trend did not follow through to the pending sales number which was down 3%. The average sales price was up 8% and the median sales price climbed 5%. New listings jumped up 17%. The number of active listings came in 5% higher than last year at this time. The Carrollton/ Farmers Branch area has one of the lowest months of inventory of any area at only 1.9 months supply. If you are a buyer it tough to find the home of your dreams in this area.
