Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for May – Allen TX

Allen was a hot market area in May. Home sales were up 26% and pending sales climbed 27%. Looks like we are setting up for a good month in June. The average sales price rose 4%. The median sales price increases 8% as sales were tilted to the higher price range properties. New listings didn’t help down 6%. The number of active listings came in 14% higher than last May. Months of inventory is half way to a balanced market at 3.3 month. Still not a great supply if you are a buyer.
