Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for April – Allen TX

April was a good month for home sales in the Allen area. Sales shot up 43% as compared to last April. Pending sales rose just 2%. The average sales price increased 6%. The median sales price came in up 11%. Looks like some people were buying higher end properties.  The number of new listings declines 2%. Active listings were 37% higher that last year. The months of inventory is half way to a balanced market at 3 months.
