Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for April – Richardson TX

Home sales were up a nice 14% in April as compared to last April. Pending sales were slightly stronger rising 15%. Looks positive for May. the average sales price increased 9%. The median sales price rose 4%. The number of new listings climbed 9%. a 52% jump in the active listings would lead you to think buyers would have a lot of choices but they don’t. Remember this number is compared to last April when inventory was very low. The months of inventory which now stands at 2 months tells a much better picture of what buyers face in the Richardson market.
