Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for September – Lake Highlands/NE Dallas

Sales were pretty ugly in the Lake Highlands area in September. Down 28%!. Pending sales were even worse off 37%.  New listings were also down 16%. Now for the positive numbers. The average sales price rose 11% and the median sales price increases 12%. Looks like what did sell was in the upper price ranges. Active listings showed a 10% rise but this is a comparison to last September when the number of listings were low. With the months of inventory at 2.8 months, buyers are still having a hard time finding a homes that fits their lifestyle.

New Listings: 74

Active Listings: 169
