Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for August – Garland TX

Sales hilt up much better in Garland that in most other areas in August. Only off by 1%. Pending sales were up by 3%. The average sales price increased 10% while the median sales price climbed 11%. The number of new listings grew 8%. The active listings jumped 27% but you must remember that this number is a comparison to last August when active listings were extremely low. The months of inventory sits at 1.9 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market so Garland is a sellers market!

Median Sales Price: $212,000

Pending Sales: 211

New Listings: 253

Active Listings: 292

Months of Inventory: 1.9
