Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for July – Allen TX

Sales in the Allen area were up 1% in July as compared to last July. However, the pending sales fell 27%. Not a good sign for August Sales. The average sales price rose 7% and the median sales price climbed 6%. New listings fell 3%. The number of active listings rose 27%. The small sales number combined with the increase in active listings took the months of inventory up to 3.6 months. This number has not been this high in a long time.

New Listings: 198

Active Listings: 405

Months of Inventory: 3.6
