Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for June – North Dallas

Buyers looking for big homes in North Dallas took a breather in June. Sales fell 18%! Pending sales were also off but down only 6%. My guess is that we will see another declining sales number in July. The average sales price shot up 25%. This has to be some distortion in the mark up of the sales. because the median sales number was flat. New listings dropped 3%. Active listings fell 10%. This decline moved the months of inventory down to 5.7 months.
