Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for March – McKinney TX

McKinney remains one of the hot markets. Sales were up a whopping 42% in March as compared to last March. The average sales price rose 9% while the median sales price saw a 10% gain. Pending sales were down 1%. Don’t think this is anything to be concerned about. The number of new listings fell 5%. The active listings shot up 31%, but as in other areas, this number is a little deceiving as last March’s active listings were very low. The months of inventory did climb to 2.5 months but with 6 months being a balanced market, buyers are not really helped much.
