Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December – North Dallas
Sales shot up 62% when compared to last December. The average sales price jumped 22% while the median sales price took a leap of 32%. These numbers reflect last Decembers weakness and a large number of sales in the over $1,000,000 category. Pending sales climbed 16%. The number of new listings fell 39%. The active listings were flat. The months of inventory declined to 3.7 months. Well short of the 6 months considered a balanced market.
