Carrollton/Farmers Branch TX Home Sales for August

Sales were up in August

Sales in august as compared to last august were up 12%. The average sales price increased 13% while the median sales price rose 9%. A little troubling was the 21% drop in pending sales. This does not bode well for September sales. The number of new listings declined 1% and the active listings fell 10%. This is not good news for buyers. The months of inventory  is now at 1.2 months. It’s a seller’s market.
