Far North Dallas Residential Sales Report for May

Far north Dallas bucked the trend.

Far North Dallas was one of the few areas to report negative sales numbers for May. Sales fell 5%. The average sales price was not effected and climbed 12%. The median sales price jumped 13%. It looks like a substantial number of sales in May were in the upper price ranges. Pending sales were also down with a drop of 7%. The number of new increased 11% and the active listings rose by 16%. This pushed the months of inventory to 2.2 months. That’s not a great number if you are a buyer. Your choices are limited.
