McKinney TX Residential Sales Report for May

It’s still very much a Sellers Market in McKinney

Single-Family:

Sales were up by 8% in May as compared to a year ago. The average sales price increased by 6% as did the median sales price. Pending sales took a jump of 26% so June is looking pretty good. The number of new listings was flat but the active listings rose  by 23%. It’s good to have more supply, but this increase only took the months of inventory up to 1.6 months. 6 months is considered a balanced supply/demand.

Sales: 295

Average Sales Price: $331,475

Median Sales Price: $307,950

Pending Sales: 295

New Listings: 303

Active Listings: 373

Months of Inventory: 1.6
