Sales in Richardson Exploded!

December was a really good month in Richardson. Sales jumped by 44%! The average sales price increased by 6% and the median sales price by 9%. Sales continue to be skewed to the upper price ranges. Of the sales for the months only 25 were below $200,000.
Pending sales did fall by 6% but given the large increase in sales this is not surprising. The number of new listings declined by 2% and the active listings dropped 1%. this left the months of inventory standing at 0.9 months.
Richardson is definitely a seller’s market.
