Plano, TX Residential Sales Report for September

Sales were up a strong 15% in September. The average sales price increased by 2% while the median price rose 9%. Pending sales were up a strong 25% so we can anticipate that October will be a good month. New listings were up by 5%. The number of active listings jumped 13% but this only took the months of inventory to 1.6 months. Still a very short supply.

Average Sales Price: $323,812

Median Sales Price: $290,000

Pending Sales: 316

New Listings: 323

Active Listings: 488

Months of Inventory: 1.6

Leases:

Leasing Activity was off by 5%. The average rent increased by 6% and the median rent by 7%. Pending leases dropped 17%. New listings increased by 5% while the active listings were up by 2%. The months of inventory fell to 1.4 months.

Average Rent: $1,890

Median Rent: $1,800

Pending Leases: 65

New Listings: 198

Active Listings: 239

Months of Inventory: 1.4
